10 riders attended the ride out today with yours truly as the Observer in attendance. Matt is away and a lot of the other Observers had riding overdose yesterday, with leadiing rideouts for C J Ball's launch weekend.
The group I rode in today was Dan (Pan European) with pillion Vanessa, and Cindy (Hornet). The theme for today's ride was having fun, and doing Queen Karaoke (see previous ride's posting) whilst riding! 🙂
Dan led the first part to Dereham. If a ride was something tangible, like a painting or sculpture, then Dan could write "all my own work' on the bottom of his ride. Well done Dan (and Vanessa). Cindy thought it was a good ride so I didn't really have any say in the matter 😉
Cindy decided to take the day off today and said I could lead the ride to Gayton. Hopefully I showed a bit of 'sparkle' in my ride. I must have got something right as Cindy said I might as well lead the last bit as well!
A good group ride on a good route with plenty of opportunity to 'sparkle'.
Over coffee and cake (it had to be done) Cindy asked me a difficult question. 'What happens to your fleece when it rains?" I thought long and hard about that and then answered "It get's wet!" 😉 I did then say it has a waterproof lining so I don't get wet, which is what I think she was really asking 🙂
Hopefully see you all next Sunday.
Oh, and I did say I'd mention Graham - so that's done! All I need now is for him to look at this website to see his name in lights. 🙂
