Martin Hopp has published (on Email) the BRD dates for 2013. They are May 15th, July 10th and September.
I cannot make the May date as I will be in the Lakes, and September is too far away to think about.
I plan to do July 10th - REALLY looking forward to introducing my new bike to the pleasures of riding around Cadwell without traffic, junctions etc.
I am happy to organise 'stuff' like accommodation, probably the Black Horse in Donnington le Bain, but will need to know numbers. The plan is to ride up on the Tuesday as 100 miles before a 7.30am registration, do Cadwell, and then 100 miles ride home is, IMHO, too much to do all in one day.
If you want to try it but are not sure what it's going to be like then I'll be happy to wax lyrical for hours until you say "NO MORE, I'll do it, just stop going on about it". 😉 . If you don't want me to make your ears bleed then have a chat with Big Al, or Tall Ian and lots of others who have come away from Cadwell with the biggest smile on their faces - and no chicken strips! 😉
We spend all our time riding around doing our utmost to avoid being killed by all the other road users, road conditions and general mayhem and bedlam on the public highways. Doing Cadwell with Martin and his team of top rate instructors is an opportunity to experience what you and your bike are actually capable of doing, and have some real FUN!!!!!
Martin can't take any bookings until the website is up and running after a revamp. Once it's ready, the process is you book yourself onto the day and put in a box (somewhere on the screen) that you are in a group from NAM. If we are 10 or more then we get a discount (it was £10 per head).
It would be good to know who and how many are interested as early as possible so I can start thinking about booking accommodation.
Roll on July!
P.S. See posting for last years Cadwell day for more information.
